He joined AJ Capital Partners' executive team in 2016 as a principal and senior managing director of investor relations. His new association with the firm focused on building a portfolio of hotels and resorts, most notably the company's in-house brand, Graduate Hotels all over the US.

The real estate company's other ventures include the restoration of old hotels and the creation of new buildings, including the Chicago Athletic Association, Soho House Chicago, Thompson Chicago, and Hotel Lincoln, all of which are located in Chicago.

Later, he hosted "The Manning Hour," which aired on Fox Sports as well. Later, EPSN presented "The Book of Manning," a cinematic documentary special where Manning's role in helping his two younger brothers was one of the major themes.

He is married to Ellen Heidingsfelder who is an attorney from the US. Before finally marrying in 1999, the two began a romantic relationship for a few years. There are three children in the family: two sons and a daughter.

His son Arch is the top-ranked pro-style quarterback prospect in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports, and plays quarterback for Isidore Newman Institution, the same school where Cooper and his uncles played. May, the oldest child, attended Sacred Heart University before transferring to the University of Virginia to play volleyball. At Newman, Heid, the eldest son, plays center with Arch.

He is the first child of Archie and Olivia Manning and was born on March 6, 1974, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a wide receiver at Isidore Newman School and broke out in his senior year of high school, throwing all of the passes alongside his brother Peyton.

He was a highly regarded prospect coming out of high school, and he chose to attend the University of Mississippi.

He noticed numbness in his fingers and toes when rehearsals began in the summer before school, so he went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota to be diagnosed. He was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the spine that causes nerve pinching. Manning accepted the diagnosis and retired from football immediately.
