She was born and grew up in Orient, Ohio. She was born in Detroit to a Vietnamese mother and a white father. Hence she is half American and half Asian.
The real identity of her father and mother is still unknown. But it was known that her mother and father met each other during the Vietnam War. Her father served in the army which gave him chance to meet her mother.
She was the seventh child of her parents. She was raised in a very rural conservative community in Ohio with her six siblings.
Unfortunately, She lost her father due to a heart attack at the very young age of six.
