He had amassed a staggering net worth of $100 million which represents his outstanding work as a designer, entrepreneur, and DJ. His base salary from LVMH was alleged $10 million per year when he joined Louis Vuitton in 2018. He sold a majority stake in his label Off-White to LVMH in July 2021 earning substantial income through it.
At the beginning of his career, in 2009, he interned at Fendi in the same class as rapper Kanye West after graduating from university. He got the attention of the Louis Vuitton CEO while working with the rapper and designer. He was born in Rockford, Illinois, to his Ghanaian immigrant parents. His mother was a seamstress, and his father worked as a painter. He learned to sew from his mother.
