As mentioned earlier, Tinx and Diplo dating rumors sparked in early 2021. On December 29, 2021, Diplo took to TikTok to address something that happened when he attended a Las Vegas Raiders match.
The video shows a screenshot of Diplo on the jumbotron, with the caption Tinx Boyfriend below his name. After that, people were surprised to see as they believed that Diplo was Tinx's boyfriend. Despite that rumors, Tinx was not available on the game. However, social media users made comments on the post to tease Diplo.
One user wrote, "They need a raise!!!!!!!! Normalize men being referred to as their girlfriends boyfriend! Usually, it's ONLY the other way around." On the other hand, people were confused, and they were asking to know more about their rumored relationship. Finally, in July 2021, Tinx opened up about it in an interview with ET Canada. In that interview, she said that they were just good friends.
She also went on to say that she may friendzone the D.J. if they are ever romantically involved. Tinx said, "God, I don't know. I might friendzone him, honestly. I can't tell, but maybe, never say never!" In September 2021, she gave an interview with Ryan Seacrest revealing that Diplo and Tinx went on a date and had a good time.
